Checked this place out tonight after reading the reviews. Food, service and atmosphere were awesome! We had the fajita trio and it was really good. We both grew up in Houston were good Mexican food is everywhere. This has been the best we've had in Austin after nearly 3 years of living here. We will be back for sure!

I have lived in Lakeway since 2001 and Tulum is exactly what we needed! Outdoor and indoor seating. Two great bars, good music and an excellent Mexican Martini! I had the Fajitas Caribenas! That was the MOST AMAZING SHRIMP DISH I have ever had. I didn't need my tortillas! The guy next to us ordered it because his mind looked! Six huge shrimp cooked perfectly with the bacon crispy! Heaven!

Wow! You need to visit them for both their food and margs. I'm pretty picky and was very impressed with both the taste and the value. Their margs are strong and excellent! Their food is tasty! Will definitely be back. Loved the feel of the place.
